Chevrolet S10 4x2: I have a disconnected ground lead from drivers

Hello, my name is***** for the question. If I am not online when you return please give me some time to get back to you. Typically the bare braided ground goes from the fire wall to the hood or from the firewall to the back of the cylinder head. If your hood does not have a stud on it then it needs to go to the rear of the cylinder head. Let me know if you need more help.
