Chevy Malibu: I recently had air filter changed, serpentine

This answer was rated:

I recently had air filter changed, serpentine and alternator belts changed, front brakes-pads and rotors installed, parking brake adjusted, lastly oil change. COULD ANY OF THESE PROCEDURES CAUSED DECELERATION WHEN PRESSING THE GAS?
Hello and thank you for your question today!
Is the check engine light coming on when this is happening?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Sorry for the delay David.
The only thing I think could be a possible factor based on the work you had done would be if the ait flilter box wasn't closed properly and there was an air leak.

This can affect the sensor that tells how much air is coming into the system and cause the fuel mixture to be incorrect. This would be a huge factor when trying to accelerate.
Hope this helps!
