2006 chevy impala 3.5 3500 v6 low oil pressure light keeps coming on. taken to dealership diagnosis pressure tests revealed almost all gaskets leaking ,oilpressure sensor. price 2995.00. i replaced $30 sensor five months later light starts again . being my mothers car i don't know if actual low oil after several different occaisions burned out new sensor or if thee is a secondary swith in oil pan or leaks have anything to do with it .mom don't know,son don't know but i'll do what i can

Ok but it was with manufacturer specifications correct? Also does the engine make any excessive noise?
