Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 Z71: How to remove a radio from 2003

How to remove a radio from 2003 anavalnge
Greetings and welcome!!!!!!

This Radio will "pull all the way out". You have to get it just far enough out and get the clips pushed with a pick or long screwdriver, that is the only way I can get these out. You are not missing any steps in the process.

  1. Remove the cluster bezel.
  2. Remove the 3 screws (1).
  3. Pull out the radio assembly slightly in other to gain access to the connectors.
  4. Disconnect the wire connectors.
  5. Disconnect the coaxial cable from the radio.
  6. Remove the radio assembly from the I/P.
