Hi,welcome to Just Answer.I will be happy to assist you with this question today.I will try and assist you as best as possible from here, feel free to ask any follow up questions to my info provided here.

If this fault occurs when you open any door none of the lights come on then there is a fault in the lamp control supply signal from the body control module.

This doesn't sound like a fuse or wiring issue as you can manually turn them on with the switch.

Make sure if your vehicle has a dome lamp over ride switch that this isn't switched on as this will cause this as well.If the over ride switch is off then what may be at fault is an internal electrical fault in the body control module itself and it may need replaced.

The fault codes need checked in the body control module with a scan tool that will plug into your vehicle and communicate with the body control module.Once the codes have been read out then it can be diagnosed/tested to make sure the body control module is at fault.

If it is found at fault then it will need replaced and programmed by a GM dealer with a new body control module.

Let me know if you need anything else and positive ratings are appreciated. Thanks Pete.
