p1345 obd 2 code
Optional Information: Year : 2002 Make : Chevrolet Model : van Engine : vortec Already Tried: changed crank sensor, seems like it happens right at start.outher then that van runs fine. crank sensor is showing -25 retard
at 1000 to 1050 RPM what is the retard showing ? was the distibuter out of this engine recently?
actually while I was driving the vehicle between 35 and 50 mph, this is where it seemed to stay. Don't know about distributer. Just recently bought vehicle
ok a 1345 code is the cam to crank sensor coorlilation is off usually do to an inporoperly installed distibuter ir a work or bad distibuter.at 1000 RPM offset should be -2 to +2 thats it.if its not there see if this style distibuter will adjust if you loosen the hold down bolt ( pull cap and rotor and make sure its not worn out and very sloppy inside expecially the center shaft ) if it looks goo and you can move the distibuter bring it up to 1000 and turn it until you get that spec tighten it down and clear the code
