On the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe when I let off the brake the vehicle lunges forward. Is this a common problem and if so what can be done about it?

Is the engine light on and what are the rpms at when this happens?
Engine light was not on and don't know about the rpms, but both times this happened I had just come to a stop and the light changed and when I took my foot off of the brake the Tahoe lunged forward.
Ok this is caused by a high idle was this checked when this happend?
No, it wasn't checked, but it caused me to hit the vehicle in front of me the first time it happened sitting at a red light. The second time there were no other vehicles around.
OK there are issues with these throttle bodies sticking and causing this issue .The engine light has not been on .I hope you are ok from the accident.
No, I was not injured and there was no damage to the Tahoe and the accident just damaged the bumper and tail gate of the truck in front of me, but after two years he is coming back and suing me for 1.5 million for medical issues and he was not injured in this accident!
Are you kidding me .I hope you had pictures of that accident thats ridiculous.Ok there are no recalls on this issue .There are issues where carbon builds up on the throttle plate and it will stick and cause this issue.You will need to disconnect the battery and clean the throttle plate and throttle body for this issue .If there is still an issue the throttle position sensor can be shorted out and causing this issue.These are what need to be checked next.As fro suing you for that much money is a joke .People honestly I think are crazy in this world.Best of luck.Please rate excellent service so I get credit for my help anything lower then ok service gives me negative feedback and I do not get compensated for my time thanks . It is ridiculous, especially since he jumped out of his truck and was walking around fine and spent the rest of the week on vacation with his family and didn't mention being hurt during the next two months during the claims process and getting his truck repaired. I gave you an excellent rating!
