Customer Question

I need to change a driveshaft support bearing on an '05 C1500HD Crew 2wd. I bought the new part, but think the bearing is pressed onto the shaft. There is also a rubber boot just to the rear of the support bearing, which I loosened but can't see anything that helps me not screw things up.

Country: United States
Make: Chevrolet
Model: C1500 4x2
Year: 2005
Engine: 6.0 V8

Already Tried:
Only loosened the nuts that hold the support bearing to the frame crossmember and loosened the rubber boot just to the rear of the support bearing. Looks like the bearing might be pressed on. I don't have any equipment for this and don't want to screw it up.
