Hello, I'm Cam. Please include all the details about your issue so I can accurately advise you. I cannot see your vehicle so please be detailed.

The location of the oi pressure sensor is on the top back of the engine but the top is of the block not the intake.

So you need to reach down the back around the intake. It will be tight but there is room to reach. The sensor is standing straight up and down so the connector comes down from the back harness and plugs into the top.

what tools are needed to remove and replace. can it be done without removing

the intake .does it screw in?

It is threaded in, and you will need a ratchet, extension and the oil pressure sensor socket. This you can get at any part store.
