Who gave you this quote and exactly what did theey say they found? Based on that code it should just be a bad vent valve or some damaged wiring?
a chevy dealership they said faulty evap vent solenoid valve they said i had a leak in the fuel tank
So they say it is a bad vent solenoid and a bad tank?
the paper said solenoid and the salesman that took it to the service dept at the dealership explained it to me as a leak in the fuel tank I said that does that me it will blow up and he said i don't know
Something does not sound right, it is almost always just the vent valve solenoid.
I would get a second opinion.
