2001 Chevy blazer: my abs and brake light flashes..im driving

Hello I have a 2001 Chevy blazer And my abs and brake light flashes on and off while I'm driving. It doesn't come on while the caris idle. I took it to a shop so that it can read the codes but the machine wouldn't pick it up. Yesterday as I was driving all the lights on the dashboard flashed on very quickly. Do know what might be wrong I'm so lost.

It's possible that you may have two issues.

Customer : Ok

There should be a code stored for the ABS light that has come on. Some scan tools are not capable of reading them.

Canadafix :

Was the shop you took it to able to retreive any codes?

Customer : No... They even tried to pick it while driving the vehicle because the light isn't on while idle
Canadafix :

When driving I suspect that there may be an intermittant wire connection to a wheel speed sensor. Often, over time, the wire leads to the sensors bend and twist and eventually cause the wire to break. When you are driving this broken wire goes open circuit and causes the light to come on. Very common problem.

Canadafix :

The shop you took it to may not have a scan tool that is able to work properly with your system.
