my 1500 silverado..my fan..way it runs or any other electrical..10 amp

Resolved Question:

All the gauges on my 1500 silverado do not work and the highest speed on my fan does not work. This all happened at once.It has no effect on the way it runs or any other electrical. I checked the two 10 amp fuses that are related to the gauges and they were fine. Not sure what to do next.

Welcome to JustAnswer, my name is XXXXX XXXXX X'm here to help get your problem resolved. Check the 40 amp blower fuse to see if good...If good verify red and orange wires at blower resistor have voltage with key on and heater in high position and veirfy blacks have good ground...If all are good replace the blower motor resistor assembly...The guage problem is likely unrelated as I see now wires they share in common..Guage assemblies are common to fail on these vehicles which is about a $500 repair at dealer, it may be under special warranty where they will replace full price or cost of part and you pay labor.
