Hello and thank you for using JustAnswer. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will do my best to help you with your Chevy problem.

There are two knock sensors on this engine, both under the intake manifold. The intake manifold must be removed to replace these sensors. Make sure to check for the presence of water in the well for the rear sensor and contamination of the connector, as this is a common problem.

The labor time to replace the knock sensor is 2.7 hours.
