GM Tech (Cam) :

Hello, I'm Cam. Please include all the details about your issue so I can accurately advise you. I cannot see your vehicle so please be detailed.

GM Tech (Cam) :

This is a hydraulic system so there is no adjustment for it.

Customer:

when i push in the clutch pedal it disengages but does not shift out of or into gears without some force

GM Tech (Cam) :

It sounds as though it is worn out.

GM Tech (Cam) :

because it is hydraulic, it has no adjsutments.

Customer:

is there a seperate clutch brake that can be replaced? I have put less than 2000 miles on this vehicle since i purchased it and the previous owner showed me a receipt from a new clutch being put in less than a year before that.

GM Tech (Cam) :

No, clutch brakes are only used on highway tractors and such. this is just a normal clutch with a hydraulic clutch disc.

Customer:

ok. so replacing it is the only fix?

GM Tech (Cam) :

sorry to say, yes.

Customer:

ok. thanks
