Below is the diagram you need. The most common problem on this truck is the HDM relay. The HDM is not a normal relay but it looks just like one. The HDM is a small module that controls voltage to the headlamps so it can dim them when its in the daytime running lamp mode. The HDM is located in the underhood fuse box in the middle. There are 2 of these relays next to each other, the other one is for the cooling fan clutch. You can switch them to see if the lights come back on, they are relays 45 and 46. If switching them works, you need to replace the bad relay. Your local GMC or Chevy dealership stock them, they run around $45.

Michael,

I just noticed that I apparently selected TAHOE (incorrectly) on the questionaire after I posted my question. My apology!!!!!

The question itself was worded correctly. I need info on a 2006 Trailblazer. Did your answer reflect Trailblazer information? Or, do you need to update and correct your response?

Thanks,

Steven

I'll check the truck out tomorrow when my wife returns from out of town. I'll accept / update feedback then.

Thanks,

Steven
