Injector pulse..TBI..Connected noid light and no flash when cranking

Customer Question

No injector pulse @ TBI injectors. Power to injectors with key on engine off...but when cranking no pulse. Connected noid light and no flash when cranking. Obviously engine will not start with no pulse to injectors so tests have been limited. Fuel pump pressure is within parameters (9-13 psi) when key is on. Spark at plugs id good and engine will run briefly if we pour small amount of gasoline into the throttle body. No codes from ECM except code 12. I have power to the ECM. Is the ECM the problem or just simply bad grounds or wiring between the ECM and injectors? Something is keeping both TBI injectors from opening.

Shannon Martin :

hi i am shannon i will help on this issue

Shannon Martin :

it could be the ECM but you need to test the power and ground to it first

Shannon Martin :

you also need to chech the resistance of the injectors

Shannon Martin :

i,ll look up the spec. but it should be around 1.5 ohms

Shannon Martin :

if you have a votl ohm meter i can you a pin voltage chart for the ECM

Shannon Martin :

that way you can test all the voltages to and from the ECM

Shannon Martin :

just let me know if you have a meter

just post your answer in the box below .thanks shannon

I have checked the resistance of the injectors and it is around 1.5 ohms. Voltage chart would be useful for ECM.
