I only have 4 check balls, but there are 5 locations. Which do I use?

what year make and model vehicle are we working on here?

Customer replied 528 days ago.

It's a 1984 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe truck, but the engine and trans are not the original.

Do you know what the engine and transmission came out of? All information i have states that there should be 5 checkballs in the TH350 transmission.

Customer replied 527 days and 23 hours ago.

No I don't, but a seal kit that I bought for the trans is marked 1969-79 th350 and it comes with 4 check balls also.

Hi, glad to be of help. graphic

69-79 only used 4.

number 5 is for lockup on later models

number 2 needs to be in there.no matter what.

number 3,4,1 dont need to be there they to cushion the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. If left out it will give you harder shifts
