I would suspect a power steering pump failure. If the pump goes out both the power steering and hydro boost brakes will be affected.

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
the truck as been fine for the past month after new ps pump
installed and all of a sudden no brakes and no power steering
this past thursday when starting the truck up to leave a customers
home.
do we have to some how bleed the new hydro boost pump
or do you think the used pump we bought may not be any good?
Expert:  David H replied 5 years ago.
I would suspect the power steering pump failed again.Usually when the hydro boost fails only the brakes are affected not the power steering.
