2001 chevy blazer 4.3 vortec v6 high idle. AIC sensor has been replaced still high idle approx 3000 rpms will not slow down only when engine is cold.

If the IAC motor is working and the throttle plate is closed all of the way, the you just simple have an air or a vacuum leak causing your high idle.

Every once in a while, the EGR valve will stick open causing an internal vacuum leak causing your high idle.
