Why is the fluid empty? Did you replace the filter are is just leaking?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
This is a friends car. It was making noise and a guy check the transmission fluid and it was empty.
Expert:  Kenny replied 5 years ago.
It can take up to 9 quarts but if it is just low then you should put one quart and place the transmission through all gears then recheck the fluid level and if it is showing on the dipstick then just add a little at a time and recheck. It may take two quarts but then again it can take three if it is really low on fluid. Remember to have the engine running with the car in park to check the fluid.
