The crankshaft pulley on my 2001 Impala seems to be out of alignment, any answers?

The crank pulley should be removed and inspected for any damage to be sure it is not damaged causing the pulley to be out of alignment. Then reinstall if ok are install a new pulley if any damage is found. Install the pulley with a crank pulley installment tool and push the pulley completely on and tighten the crank pulley bolt to gm specification.
