There is actually an intake and exhaust cam sensor on your vehicle

I see in the picture that i am looking for CMP 3 it shows it on the engine above the belt its not there on my 2008 chevy. Any other place it could be?

i just looked again and its not there above the belt on the right side as the picture shows i wish it was so i could try the part i purchased.

Yes this is for the exhaust cam sensor and is located on the passenger side of the engine.
