This answer was rated:

I have a 1997 chevy s10 with the 2.2 engine. The truck cranks but won't start.

Are you saying that there is spark at all cylinders?

Does the engine run on starting fluid?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Yea it has spark at all cylinders. No it will not start with starting fluid.
Have you checked engine compression or injector pulse?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I have not checked engine compression yet. How do i check injector pulse?
Fuel trigger is the signal from the computer to the injectors. You would use a tool called a noid light. It simply plugs into the injector connector after the fuel injector is unplugged and should blink when the engine is cranked over. It looks like this.
