hello.....It is right, if you do not have a code is hard to find the problem.....but they did have a lean code, usualy i s set because a vacuum leak, fuel delivery, mass air flow sensor or o2 sensor. there is a hose from rear valve cover to the air intake pipe that usualy leaks right off the valve cover. Also check the pcv valve some times it pops out ...
The check engine light came on after they did a system clean so I suspect something they did has caused the issue but can't be sure. I had the O2 sensor replaced within the past year.
did you go back to see what code is stored now ?
It was on this morning but isn't now. I've gone several times and the last couple times it just said it's running lean. The tech says he can't diagnose the code unless the light is on so it's been hard to catch them to do it.
Also they said they can clean the injectors when they get the tool parts.
but they did tell you that you had a lean code right? all they need to do is check the fuel trims, after warm up at idle and when reving engine ...this way they know if is a vacuum leak or fuel delivery problems
Yes they showed me the computer and it listed "engine running lean"
They've done some diagnosis but I have asked what yet. So this will help me.
that is the first thing they need to do for a lean code....there is a TSB about that hose a told you about , you should also ask them about it ...they should know ...
i am going to switch to [email protected] to give you time...let me know...
