2003 chevy trailblazer: interior..power locks..power windows..fuse box

This answer was rated:

for a 2003 chevy trailblazer
most of the interior power. instrument lights and power locks and power windows are out. we don't think that there is power to the interior fuse box that is under the back seat.
when I jumped the two posts on the main fuse box under the hood the lights seemed to flicker. there is a circuit number 48 125 v is this a replaceable relay?
or fuse it is labeled 125v intrument pamel battery.

Thank you for using justanswer.

There is a 125 amp main fuse in the underhood fuse panel. This fuse is replaceable. If nothing is working, then this fuse is likely what is wrong. If some things are operational and others are not, then this is not going to be your problem. From the symptoms you are having, it sounds more like an ignition switch failure. It is fairly common for the ignition switch to go out on the Trailblazer.

so replace the main fuse. then if not take it in for an ignition switch problem. the main 125 doesn't look like regular fuse is it available at auto parts or dealer?

so what is the part called? main fuse? relay?

The main fuse is available at most parts stores. It is a wafer type fuse. Car stereo shops also carry these fuses, as they are widely used for the high powered stereo systems.
