Check voltage on the Blue wire to the knock sensor. Voltage on the Blue wire with the knock sensor disconnected should be 5 volts. If the voltage is less than 1.25 volts with the wire disconnected, check for the Blue wire being shorted to ground or a poor connection at the computer. Reconnect the knock sensor and recheck the voltage. Voltage should be 2.5 volts with the knock sensor connected and engine running. If the voltage is above 3.75 volts, check for a loose connection at the knock sensor or check for a defective knock sensor. If the voltage is below 1.25 volts, check for the wire being shorted or a shorted knock sensor. If the voltage on the knock sensor circuit is 2.5 volts yet the code continues to reset each time the car is started, replace the memcal (PROM). The memcal (PROM) performs the function of the Electronic Spark Control Module. If the code continues to reset after replacing the memcal (PROM), the computer will also need to be replaced. NOTE: If the voltage is incorrect with the sensor connected and the wiring has checked ok, verify the correct application for the knock sensor.

The code 43 issue, did you replace the computer and memcal with a new dealer part with the current updates? Have all the power and grounds been checked to the computer?

The 4 percent co, what are the fuel pressures at? Disconnect the evap purge line and see if the readings stay the same.

Customer replied955 days and 12 hours ago.
