2007 tahoe 5.3 want to install motor mount on driver side . Does front differential have to come out to get to bolts?? What is the easy way to do this,or is there no easy way Thanks Tony
Hello and good evening. Yes the differential must be removed, but you may be able to unbolt it and let it drop, without totally removing it. Try that first. Once you get that out of the way, the job will go as expected.

do u need to remove the metal cross bar under dif to drop it??
No, it doesn't appear so. If you unbolt the axles at the differential, you will be able to completely remove it and get it out of your way completely. Once you unbolt the driveshaft, and disconnect the elect. connectors, removal of the mounting bolts will be all that is left and down it will come.

Rack not in the way of removal?? Can engine be jacked up enough to get mount out??Intake looks close to coul.
No the rack is not in the way, the you can raise he engine high enough to get the mount out, just use a block of wood under the oil pan that gives you the most surface area so no damage occurs during jacking. Also, don't disconnect the passenger side mount, so the engine will hinge upward and give you the most room.
