2003 chevy silverado 2500: the oil pressure sending unit located

This answer was rated:

where is the oil pressure sending unit located on a 2003 chevy silverado 2500hd with a 8.1l engine in it?

The Oil Pressure Sending unit is on the top, rear of the engine, just below the EGR Valve. You will need a special socket - Oil Pressure Sender Socket - to remove it. You can usually buy this socket fairly cheap at any local parts store.
