The inside drivers side door handle snapped off inside the trim

Customer Question

Sirs, I own a 2007 HHR. The inside drivers side door handle snapped off inside the trim. Apprently this happens to several owners. I can fix it if I can just get the handle without buying the entire inside trim. ($300.00 ) Any thoughts on getting the part or do I need to check salvage yards. Thanks,_Mark Orlando Fl.

Unfortunately, for now that is the only way the handles are serviced. You options are the salvage yard, or repairing your existing handles. Some folks have had decent luck repairing the handles with a 2 part epoxy such as JB Weld.
