2003 Tahoe: I replaced the Crank position sensor...remove the starter

I replaced the Crank position sensor. In the process I had to remove the starter. Now my 2003 Tahoe will not crank. Is there anything else i need to do to it?

Did you remove any of the wires from the starter?

I did not remove any of the wires. I did disconnect the battery first. A took the starter back out and I jumped the solenoid. It worked as advertised. Reinstalled and same thing. no crank.

no. I checked that also.

Does the shifter show park?

yes. Im going to put in Neutral and try that also. I also checked all fuses related to the starter and ignition. All are good.

Lets try a reset.

Take the battery cables off the battery, hold the ends together for 10 seconds then attach them to the battery and see what happens. This will reset the whole vehicle.
