2003 CHEVY: I AM TRYING TO CHANGE SPARK PLUG

I AM TRYING TO CHANGE SPARK PLUG ON A 2003 CHEVY TRAIL BLAZER BUT I SEE NO WIRES OR PLUGS WHERE ARE THEY THANK YOU XXXXX

Hi,

 

The plugs are located under the 6 individual coils mounted atop the engine:

 

Removal & Installation
4.2L Engine

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator.
  2. Disconnect the ignition coil connectors (1) from the ignition coils.

    Fig. Detach the connectors (1) and remove the bolts (2) from the ignition coils

  3. Remove the retaining bolts (2) from the ignition coils.
  4. Remove the ignition coils (1) from the engine.
  5. Remove spark plugs with appropriate spark plug socket and extension

 

If yours is the 5.3L V8 instead of the more common 4.2L V6, let me know and I can provide those directions
