05 trailblazer wont turn over did this yesterday then we left it sit and it started went for a ride today won't turn over again tach is moving funny and abs light (and other lights) on steering wheel wont lock & wont go into gear (not even N) what could this be?

no that light never came on now its just showing car lock light & battery light but I know its not battery cuz we tried jumping already and nothing
You most likely have a faulty ignition switch. They are very common failures in these trucks. An easy way to confirm this, is take a test light or voltmeter. Check every fuse in the underhood fuse box, with the key in the on position. Give me a list, by fuse label. of all the fuses that show no power on either side of the fuse. I will look to see which fuses should have power and why they don't. That will lead us to the ignition switch if it's the fault. Let me know as soon as you have the list and I'll check for you.
ones that have power 1,7,11,19,21,24,29,26,23,54,22,20,18,28,27,15,52,53,17,13,12,10,8,9,14,30,31no power51,2,3but again were in process of checking and it started
