My 1992 chevy 1500 pick up a/c light is blinking i emptied the r134a since I was told the old freon was worn out since then my compressor kicks on and off about 10 times and my a/c light flashes and the compressor stops please help

i don't really understand you emptied the r134a because it was wore out freon don't wear and did you recharge it after pulling a vacuum on the system or did you just use a home charge kit on it

this a problem if you emptied the system it will need a vacuum pulled on the system to remove all the air this has to be done empty with a vacuum pump for at least 15 minutes before charging
