How do I disable the SIR system and how do I remove te upper and lower trim covers.

The best way to disable the SRS is to unhook the positive battery cable. The lower trim panel just pops off once you have removed the lower bolts.

How do you remove the plastic trim covers around the steering wheel and turn signal switch. The tilt steering lever is in the way.

All you have to do is remove the bolts that come in from the back side of the steering wheel.
