does the push button light up or flash?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

when you push the button it works like normal the light stays on and sometimes the 4-wheel drive works but 9 times out of 10 it doesn't engage

Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 7 years ago.

ok

you need to jack up all four corners of the truck..then,put it in 4wd..if the front drive shaft turns,,but don't pull the front wheels,,you may need the actuator on the front differential..if the front shaft doesn't turn and it locks the front differential with the drive shaft....you may need the actuator on the transfer case

thanks
