1998 chevy venture van oil pan remove from engine

Already Tried:
the starter the ac and oil pan is off engine but can not get the pan out of the car

Hello, the pan will not come out without undoing the motor mounts and jacking up the engine. Directions below

 

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

  • TOOLS REQUIRED
  • J39505 Torque Wrench Adapter

  1. Disconnect the battery ground (negative) cable.
  2. Remove the engine mount struts from the engine.
  3. Remove the A/C compressor mounting bolts and set the compressor aside.
  4. Install the engine support fixture.
  5. Raise and support the vehicle.
  6. Disconnect the catalytic converter pipe from the engine right side exhaust manifold.
  7. Drain the engine oil.
  8. Remove the oil level sensor wiring harness connection.
  9. Remove the starter motor.
  10. Remove the transaxle brace from the oil pan.
  11. Remove the transaxle mount lower nuts.
  12. Remove the engine mount lower nuts.
  13. Raise the engine using the engine support fixture in order to gain access for oil pan removal.
  14. Remove the engine mount bracket with the engine mount from the oil pan.

  1. Use the J 39505 in order to remove the engine right side oil pan side bolts.

  1. Remove the engine left side oil pan side bolts.

  1. Remove the oil pan retaining bolts.
  2. Remove the oil pan.
  3. Remove the oil pan gasket.
  4. Clean the oil pan and the engine block gasket surface.
