What kind of coolant went into a 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo,

What kind of coolant went into a 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, 3800 V6 and how often does it need to be changed? I'm worried about leaking intake manifold gaskets.
It would be "Dexcool" coolant and is of orange/pink color. It should be changed when dirty or every 5 years or 100,000 miles.
If mixed with green coolant that time goes down to 3 years or 30,000 miles with no other problems.

There is several class action law suites open involving this coolant and GM.
