my 1987 chevy silverados fuel system just shut down. I need

Customer Question

my 1987 chevy silverado's fuel system just shut down. I need to know where a fuse might be or what likely stopped working. The truck has two fuel tanks and the selector switch doesn't have power with the ignition on. can I just run a new power wire to the switch, or does the power go somewhere else first. I can't find a wiring diagram anywhere in the Haynes book that i have.
