Welcome. There are 3 plugs on the front and the back of the engine. IF you trace the spark plug wires, find the rubber boot. Then twist the boot half a turn then pull on the boot and not the wire. What size is your engine?

Notice: Twist the spark plug boot one-half turn in order to release the boot. Pull on the spark plug boot only. Do not pull on the spark plug wire or the wire could be damaged.

  • Remove the spark plug wires 2, 4, and 6 from the engine left side spark plugs.
  • Remove the spark plug wires from the retaining clips.

Should the spark plugs come right out? They seem a little tough and don't seem to want to come out.

The spark plugs will be tight to start, then once you get them turning, should spin out with little issues.
