How do change the speedometer drive gear on a chevy trubo 350 transmission?

Follow the speedometer cable to the transmission and locate the speedometer gear housing it is attached to which looke like this

 

 

there should also be a housing retainer which looks like this

 

 

Remove the houseing and the gear will be inside which looks like this

 

 

The color of the gear tells you the number of teeth and allows you to calculate the ratio. If you need ratio calibration help please just let me know
