2003 silverado 1500: fuse located..cant find anything labeled abs.

no light - but sometimes message in odeometer area comes on "service abs"

Okay. There are two fuses for the abs system. One is in the underhood fuse box and is labeled ABS. The other is in the drivers side dash fuse box and is labeled brake. If this message just comes up every now and then I do not think it is related to the fuses. You may have a abs problem starting. You would need to scan the abs unit for codes to be able to tell for sure.
