You need to find out what the code os-fix it then clear it with a scan tool.There is no simple turning the light out and if your failing a emission test it will show that you cleared the code and if the test has been run and passed.or failed.

Your scan tool is giving you probable causes but not the specic code-The computer is seeing a problem in the ciruit from what I can fiqure out from you description but a bock passage in the trans?Waht is the code.
