That is a CKP (crankshaft position sensor) performance code. It is most likely the 24X CKP sensor or connection.

Here is a test for it.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
DTC P0336 can be caused by secondary components leaking high voltage into the ignition module. Check for the following conditions:

  • Incorrect harness routing near secondary ignition components.
  • Ignition coil arcing to wiring harness or ignition control module (check ignition coils for cracks, carbon tracking, or other signs of damage).
  • Secondary ignition wire(s) arcing to wiring harness.

SPECIAL TOOLS REQUIRED (or equivalents)
  • J 24420-B, Harmonic balancer remover.
  • J 29113, Harmonic balancer installer.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

  1. Negative battery cable.
  2. Serpentine belts from crankshaft pulley.
  3. Raise vehicle on hoist.
  4. Crankshaft harmonic balancer retaining bolt.
  5. Crankshaft harmonic balancer using J 24420-B.
  6. Note the routing of sensor harness before removal.
  7. Harness retaining clip with bolt (1).
  8. Sensor electrical connector.
  9. Sensor bolts (2).
  10. 24X crankshaft position sensor.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

  1. 24X crankshaft position sensor with bolts (2) and route harness as noted during removal.
  2. Harness retaining clip with boot (1) and tighten to 10 Nm (8 lb. ft.) .
  3. Sensor electrical connector.
  4. Install the balancer on crankshaft using J 29113.
  5. Apply thread sealer GM-1052080 or equivalent to threads of crankshaft balancer bolt and tighten to 150 Nm (110 lb ft) .
  6. Lower vehicle.
  7. Serpentine belts.
  8. Negative battery cable.
