Do you notice a fuel smell or black smoke when the engine starts? Is the check engine light on?

no runs and acts like new

new fuel pump new crankshaft sensor, cap and rotor , dumped about 2 table spoons of gas down throat nothing changed , I hear an arc inside d cap both old and new
This could be caused by a leaking fuel pressure regulator. Connect a fuel pressure gauge to the test port on the engine, start engine then shut off. Fuel pressure should hold for more than 10 minutes without dropping. If it does, the fuel pressure regulator is most likely leaking into the manifold.

Relist: I still need help.
before pressure regulator replaced, 1st 5 times pressure would go to 60 and hold for atleast 20 min, 6th and each time after, pressure would not go above 50, started and pressure went back to normal. Replaced requlator. symptoms remain the same.
Have you checked or replaced the plug wires and coil wire?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

yes they have been replaced along w/ cap rotor ang csp sensor

Does the fuel pressure stay below 50 when the starting problem is occurring?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
Yes.
The fuel pump is responsible for building the pressure and the fuel pressure regulator limits the pressure at about 66 psi. Since your problem is low fuel pressure, the fuel pump is most likely bad and not building sufficient pressure.
