Here is what I have for this procedure. Feel free to contact me with any questions! Good luck!

  • Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  • Partially drain the coolant.
  • Open the IP storage compartment door.
    Object Number: 310652  Size: LH

  • Remove the 4 fasteners (2,7) that retain the IP storage compartment assembly (8) to the instrument panel.
  • Remove the 2 fasteners from inside the instrument panel storage compartment.
  • Partially remove the instrument panel storage compartment assembly (8).
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  • Remove the instrument panel storage compartment.
  • Remove the right sound insulator.

  • Remove the fasteners to disengage the insulator from the lower IP.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector(s).
  • Remove the insulator panel (3).
  • Remove the heater and A/C programmer. Object Number: 305022  Size: SH

  • Disconnect the vacuum and electrical connectors from the programmer (1).

  • Remove the programmer (1) from the vehicl
  • Disconnect the driver air mix actuator (2).
  • Disconnect the passenger air mix actuator (3).

  • Remove the heater core cover.
    Object Number: 378606  Size: SH

  • Remove the inlet and outlet heater hoses from the heater core.
    Object Number: 381380  Size: SH

  • Remove the heater retaining screws.
  • Remove the heater core.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  • Install the heater core to the heater case using the 2 screws.

    Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  • Install the inlet and outlet heater hoses to the heater core.

  • Install the heater core cover and the screws.

    Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  • Connect the passenger air mix actuator (3).
  • Connect the driver air mix actuator (2).
  • Install the heater and A/C programmer.
  • Install the instrument panel compartment.
  • Install the right sound insulator. Connect the negative battery cable.
  • Refill the cooling system.
