The bulbs are not replacable as they are soldered in LED bulbs. The unit will need to be replaced or you could try radio shaq with the bulbs in hand
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
Replacing the bulbs is not the question - obviously there is either an electrical issue or something wrong with the dimmer control. This has happened to both the instrument control and the climate control panels. I am not going to have both replaced. Is there someng control I can check? Is there a history of this? The radio display also dims when the lights are on.

Can you dim the radio display with the dash light dimmer?
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
No - Dimmer on the light control does not do anything anymore.

Power for the lights in question come from that switch. Check for voltage at J on the dimmer switch .Also check for voltage on S , if you have voltage on S but not on J then the switch is bad .
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
Do you have a diagram for that? Not sure which is S and whcih is J.

Trying to figure out how to remove that park of the dashboard - looks like Hayes and Chilton do not have a 2005 specific manual. Any publication out there that might help? Thanks again.
