what causes a bad lifter in a 2008 suburban with 32000 miles? Will more go bad?

WelcomeCustomer The engines that have the Active Fuel management and the special lifters have had some lifter failure of those special lifters. GM is currently investigating the nature of the failure in these injectors. If it is a regular lifter, then I believe that lifter is just bad. We have not had any lifter issues until the lifters I listed above. Have a great afternoon and please ask if you need more information.
