HelloCustomer

You reset the computer learn values with a class 2 scan tool.

Your power steering problem is most likely a worn internal seals on the rack & pinion gear. The repair for this is replacement of the rack.

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
so you are telling me than an electronic steering pump is being disabled by a mechanical seal? would a class two scan tool fix my problem?
Expert:  John replied 8 years ago.
No,what I an saying is the internal seals on the rack & pinion gear leak pressure & therefore the power assist is lost.
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
then why does my power steering not work five times I start the car and the next time it does , and as long as I dont turn off the car the power steering does not go away?
