The Model is LTZ Trailblazer 2003. After removing the set screw in the shift handle And popping it off, (Hard Twist) in the process the shifting lever is no longer lose. Also I removed 4 screws from the cd case and it still seems to be atached. If the shifter looks like it will stay tight I will leave it alone. Otherwise I'm going to break something.

This work can be frustrating.

GM Tech:

I'm going to pay the 9$ because I like this process. Also you sent some good information. I din't really solve this problem for the long run. That CD holder would not come out. I'm not sure why but when I took the shifting handle off twisting clockwise the shaft below the consel tightened up.
