My 2001 Chevy Suburban suddenly wont start.

Resolved Question:

My 2001 Chevy Suburban suddenly won''t start. Battery appears fine & was recently replaced. Could it be the starter? Can you tap on it like in the old days & see if that helps?

yes you can tap on it-also check the connections on the battery and where the cables connect to the starter and the engine block-loose connections will cause this-also try putting the truck in neutral and try to start it-it may be the neutral safety switch

let me know if all of this checks out-if after tapping on the starter it still doesn't start get back with me and we can go through the starting system to diagnose the problem
